On Sun, Oct 30th, 12:00-1:30 pm (Japan Standard Time), I delivered an in-person artist talk “Tracing Uchinanchu Roots” ) at the Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum (3 Chome-1-1 Omoromachi, Naha, Okinawa, Japan). Dr. Ikue Kina, Professor at the International Institute for Okinawan Studies at the University of Ryukyus, was the discussant and Dr. Yasuko Takezawa, Professor Institute for Research Humanities Kyoto University, was the moderator, translator, and event organizer. It was hosted by ZINBUNKEN ACADEMY (Institute for Research in Humanities, Kyoto University) In cooperation with University of Ryukyus, Department of Global and Regional Studies.
